Raw Christmas TreatiesJust because it’s Christmas it doesn’t mean you have to eat loads of sugar and processed foods.  Loving yourself this Christmas means looking after your body and feeling great when you wake up on Boxing Day. Who needs to go to bed with a stomach ache from over indulging in festive food that makes you feel toxic.

You wouldn’t believe it but these treats are raw, with no dairy, sugar, wheat or gluten and so easy to make within 10 minutes they are in the fridge. Enjoy your family and fun times but take care of your body at the same time. Eat well and stay hydrated.


Raw Christmas Chocolate Coconut Macaroons



1 Banana

1/4 cup Almond Butter

1/4 cup Coconut Oil

2 Tbsp Maple Syrup

5 Tbsp raw cocao powder

1 1/2 cups shredded coconut

1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)


Mash banana in large bowl. Whisk in the almond butter, coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla to form a paste

Add the cocao powder to the mix, one spoonful at a time, stirring well.

Stir in the coconut, making sure all the ingredients is well combined.

Form into small balls or macaroon shapes and place on top of baking paper on a tray and leave in the fridge for an hour to fully set.

If you can’t wait that long, 10 minutes in the freezer is just as good!
